Monday's class

Pour lundi:

Be prepared to answer questions 1-8 on p. 87 and question 1 on p. 85

Monday's class is roughly: a review for the exam/ practice numbers/ questions/ verbs quiz
* I forgot to give you a quiz today (it's so easy to just loose the time when you're having fun in french!) which I know everybody was very sad about. I'll give a a point or two for the quiz if you were in class today and we'll take it on Monday.

Bon weekend et amusez-vous bien!

OPI- Tuesday 22/9

2:00- Victoria and Brandon
2:05- Shaun and Lee

2:30- Mary Lou and Jennifer

2:45- Rainer and Jessica T.
2:50- Sara and Raxana
[for those of you at the end, get there a little bit early since we will probably be able to get you in earlier]

Recap: You will be coming to class during this specific time only. I will give you a random topic (ex. You meet some people for the first time. Briefly introduce yourselves, and talk about your preferred activities). You will need to have a FLUID conversation for 3 minutes. If you don't have enough to say, I will help you facilitate a conversation. Grading will not be based on grammatical accuracy but rather, on how well you understand one another and can make a fluid conversation IN FRENCH. You will be graded individually. Your grade is not contingent upon your partner. It will serve as 10 points of your chapter 3 exam on Wednesday.

Bon weekend a tout le monde!

Pas de devoir, juste etudiez le vocabulaire de chapitre 2 et avoir/etre

Thursday, September 3, 2009

Read/Study through page 43. The chapter has a lot more information than the previous, and we don't have enough time in class to go over every detail. Make sure you are reading the book. Please complete all assignments from yesterday's post and bring to class tomorrow. If you have questions about certain aspects of grammar or pronunciation, write them down so we can go over them tomorrow.

Lisez/Etudiez jusqu'au page 43. Ce chapître a beaucoup plus de matériaux que le précédant, et nous n'avons pas assez de temps en classe pour réviser tout. Donc, faites attention de lire le livre. Merci de completer tout le devoir d'hier et l'emporter en classe demain. Si vous avez des questions de grammaire ou de pronunciation, écrivez-les pour que nous puissons les réviser en classe.

Bon après-midi et à demain
